I just finished my session with Karla and wow - such a difference from previous experiences I've had! I've had headshots taken before, always starting with the caveat that I absolutely HATE having my picture taken, and low and behold, the process only increased my discomfort and anxiety. My experience with Karla was the complete opposite: she is kind, warm, considerate, and has incredible intuition. Not only is she an fantastic photographer, but an outstanding educator, as well. She was patient in explaining why and how I should turn this or that way. She gave thoughtful feedback on my styling choices and was so deeply validating that I felt comfortable from the outset.
