All ages are welcome and the dojo is spacious and very clean and the membership fee is the most affordable in town. Another positive thing is that it is a nonprofit.

Southside Dojo offers authentic Okinawan koburyu karate. It is a wonderful, family-friendly dojo that is very affordable and welcoming to all ages. The instructors are good, patient, and helpful, offering a diversity of classes and styles. Students can expect to train hard in a spacious and very clean facility. It is a great group of people where confidence grows, highly recommended as the place in Kalamazoo for martial arts.
