We have a cottage right by here so we make it a point to go every time we are up staying there. I have 2 little boys (8 and 10) who love to golf. They do the YOC which Huron shores particapate in, which is really nice. I guess the biggest issue I have is that they charge me an extra $20 fee each time just for these 2 little boys to ride in the cart with me. Seems odd to rent a cart then triple charge me for it for 2 extra youth golfers... when you do that, it totally ruins the YOC savings at that point. Have to shout this course out as well as the excellent ownership. We rented an Airbnb just across the street for a birthday the weekend of November 8th. With the weather still being decent, we thought we could just grab a tee time at any local course, only to find out that most had closed for the season already. We got a call back from these lovely folks and were told that the grounds crew was going to be there shutting the greens down so we wouldn't have any pins out, but we could still play.
They did not have to do that; they could have just as easily not returned the phone call, especially considering they barely charged us anything to play. They even opened...read full review
