Terry was excellent as a tax preparer for me while I was in Michigan, and has continued to be responsive as I have tried to sort things out with the IRS after they piled screwing up my tax returns onto an already difficult year, even nearly a year after he originally prepared the returns. He is knowledgeable, responsive, efficient, and polite. You can't go wrong.

**2 /12 stars, average at best. I filed this year at Griffin accounting for the first time after reading mostly positive reviews on google. Most of us know how hard it is to find a decent tax person. They seem to advertise more than most in the blue water area. They are very affordable and they give hero discounts which is very cool. Also, I was well received by the staff at the front of the office. My problem with them is the expertise was below average with the person who prepared our taxes. I asked what the threshold was for the a certain tax bracket and the preparer had to google it. Also over estimated my state return by a substantial amount, more than $1500( I had to correct them). I honestly never felt like the preparer treated me like a new client and that is bad business sense. Moreover, I had to ask, almost beg for future tax advice. If your taxes are complicated (like mine), I suggest you maybe look elsewhere as I will have to do next tax season.
