About Skyview Detroit

Skyview Detroit is a professional and reliable business that specializes in motorized louvered pergolas, exterior-rated motorized screen systems, and specialty glass sunroom and conservatory additions. They designed and installed a stunning StruXure pergola for a customer, who expressed that the quality of the product is amazing. The installation crew was polite, courteous, and prompt every day, even showing up on a rainy morning at 7:30 AM. This experience was worth every penny, and the customer praised Skyview Detroit for their outstanding service from start to finish. From the initial appointment to follow-up after installation, customers have had terrific experiences. The designers worked closely to create the best solution, and the engineering team secured the necessary permits effectively. The installation occurred on time, and one customer noted that the team was meticulous, measuring several times before making cuts and drilling holes. Skyview Detroit took care of everything, even addressing city ordinances to ensure compliance. Before final payment, a team arrived to clean the site, wipe down the pergola, perform a water test, fix any issues, and paint bolts to match the pergola's color. Overall, Skyview Detroit is a trustworthy and skilled business that exceeds expectations and prioritizes customer satisfaction. Recent reviews highlight the craftsmanship, professionalism, and care that Skyview Detroit provides. A contractor from Toledo praised their work on a sunroom/addition project, emphasizing the courtesy and professionalism of Paul, Gerrit, Darrick, Jacob, and the crew led by Pat, including Andrew, Sean, and Jarrett. Customers felt the team cared about the project as if it were their own, showing great skill, patience, and kindness throughout. Their work greatly improved the home, completed on schedule, and any challenges were handled professionally. The positive experience reflects the company's strong team and dedication to quality. Additionally, customers are very happy with their motorized screens installed on the patio. These screens operate individually, allowing different configurations for shade and airflow. The installation process was smooth, despite a little miscommunication. The screens effectively block about 95% of the warmth, making the space usable year-round with outdoor heaters in winter. In summer, they keep bugs out, provide shade in the evening, and allow fresh air to flow through. Customers highly recommend Skyview Detroit for their quality products and excellent service.

We are happy with the final product. The crews that came out and did the work were always prompt and professional.

The team at Skyview Detroit (formerly known as Livingspace Detroit) is incredible. They just finished a project building a sunroom for us. After meeting with Taylor from Skyview and representatives from two rival companies, the decision as to who to sign with was easy to make because the rival companies didn't come close to offering the value, the customization and flexibility, or the quality of projected final product as Skyview. And that's just talking about the product and the return on investment for the cost (I have quotes from other companies for sunrooms half the size for roughly the same price, and they didn't have the same quality of building materials). When you factor in the high level of professionalism, exceptional customer service, and frequent, respectful communication, the value of working with Skyview gets better and better. Considering the amount of time that goes into a project like building a sunroom, working with a team that is respectful, reliable, friendly, and helpful is really important. The quality of the people themselves can make or break your experience. From the time we sat down to discuss options and make plans for our custom sunroom, all the way through the final completion and walk-through of the space, every individual member of the team was exceptional (from the crew building the room to the electricians brought in to the folks organizing logistics and communication from the office to the person actually designing our space). Whenever my partner or I had stupid questions, any member of the crew on site would take the time out to talk it through with us with impressive patience. Or Taylor or Valerie would respond to our email queries within a couple hours, often sooner than later. If there was a concern or question about the build itself, Matt would quickly involve himself to make sure things were addressed to our satisfaction. Even though this was one of many jobs for this team, they never once made us feel like *just another job*. This is especially a shout-out to the building crew since they were here all day long, day after day, in the bitter cold and over the holidays (not on the holidays, though, which we were happy they could enjoy). That they were always so great to work with or talk to in spite of the demands of the job goes to show how genuinely kind and professional they all are. The sunroom they built for us is off the back of our house. The first step was tearing out the old concrete patio and pouring a new slab. Then they began putting up the structure, putting in electrical, etc. They built a gabled roof into the existing roof of the house, which meant removing gutters, tearing into walls, shingling, putting up new gutters. They put down beautiful flooring, installed a ceiling fan (that we supplied, as per the agreement), put up a new interior wall (bead board) with an opening for a dog door (as requested), ran new electrical, installed a baseboard heater to make the room usable all year. The trim-work done at the end is beautiful. When all was said and done, they cleaned up the room and the yard quickly and efficiently. What I'm trying to say is, a lot of time, energy, expertise, and coordination went into putting this together for us. The sunroom has been completely finished for about a week and we have already spent more waking hours in it than the rest of the house. We love it. Our pets love it. We had friends in from out of town and they were blown away by it. I might build another sunroom off this sunroom just to have another project with this team. If you're thinking about a sunroom or other related project, I highly encourage you to contact Skyview and set up a consultation. There were no strings attached until we signed the contract. There's no risk because you can walk away if you aren't satisfied with the plan. But they customize their projects according to your wants and needs, so I think you'll be impressed.

LivingSpace Detroit is absolutely incredible! I solicited bids from a few different companies, two that only do sunrooms and two that are general contractors. Livingspace was a little more costly (which Taylor acknowledged immediately), but their product and customer service is superb. Our room was finished within a few weeks with an incredible attention to detail. The crew was phenomenal both in their craftsmanship and their personalities! We would recommend them without question to anyone thinking of an addition like this.
