After moving to Petoskey in August 2018, I asked my coworker for an eye doctor recommendation. According to her, Dr. Powers was the best - and she was right. My entire life I had always gone to a very quiet optometrist who made me feel awkward and nervous (and apparently I had never received some of the regular tests for eye health either). Dr. Powers is the total opposite: he's very funny and social, and he knows how to make you comfortable. He's smart, conscientious, and always listens and I believe truly wants the best outcome for his patients. And he's incredibly efficient with what he does! Absolutely amazing, takes great care of me and my eyes. He knows how to work with insurance too! Been going here since I was a kid and I don’t think I could ever bring myself to go anywhere else.
