Terrible. After getting a divorce, I asked the tax preparer for a copy of my return. I asked in writing three times! On the the third, she said she would send it but I still didn't have it two weeks later. When I wrote a FOURTH time and said I was going to go over her head, she said that she mailed it (we'll see) and told me not to "threaten her again!" I mean, I'm not sure what course of action I was supposed to take after FOUR requests over a period of a few months other than contact her supervisor. It was crazy unprofessional.
