I decided to stop by and leave a review because I know how important good
reviews are for business. I brought a tap shoe where the screws had fallen out. Immediately he said that I would probably need to get new shoes because The only reason screws fall out of tap shoes is that the screws are stripped from the inside and can no longer hold the screws. I asked him about putting glue in the holes to hold the screws. I had seen it online. He explained that the glue doesn’t hold and that the same thing will just happen again very soon. I've been coming to this location for years for all my repair needs and cannot recommend it enough!! Always great service, reasonably priced, and busy schedule (which is good in this case, meaning owner is doing a great job with repair!). You can replace heel tips, soles, leather items like bags, clean uggs. Some items to take care for shoes at home are sold at the store too. Next time I'll make sure to take a picture!
After buying and returning several pairs of work boots and shoes priced anywhere from $125 to $480, I decided to give my 30-year-old Irish Setter boots a second life—and I couldn’t be happier! Abe at Maple Shoe Repair is a true craftsman. He resoled my boots with incredible skill, and they’re now better than new because they are already broke in! Anybody who’s ever worn work boots knows what a nightmare it is to break in a new pair and how painful the process can be. Thanks to Abe, I didn’t have to go through that again.
