I called ahead to see what the timeline would be to get a heel clip for my shirt boots, the owner said he's about 40 minutes to turns around a heel clip job today. I let him know I would have to wait since I dint have any other boot with me. Small space right next to Starbucks, grab cup and snack while you wait. Definitely a neighborhood spot. The owner knows his customers by name. The back wall has signed photos of local celebrities. The owner seems quite warm, friendly and attentive. Busy day for him today. He wedged me in between jobs. The boot tip is integrated into the whole boot, it would require grinding down the boot and replacing it with a new glued piece. $25. Takes about an hour to grind, cool down and glue the new piece onto it. They do watch battery replacement as well as knife sharpening to wedding gown preservation boxes too. It's a one stop shop. They do take CC, but there's an added charge. Boots were done in about 20 minutes - that's so quick. $25 + CC fee. Good and friendly service. These boots are back for more walking and wear.
My shoes have a new lease of life after the soles were reattached. Very happy with the quality of the work. Abe was engaging, meticulous and a joy to meet. Thoroughly good experience.
