Overall, JJ's Barbers of Novi is a reliable and helpful spot for haircuts, with the potential for improvement in customer communication.
Stopped in here for a haircut from my brother's recommendation. Stylist Alicia took care of me and was very friendly, chatted, and really liked my hair! Made a late afternoon appointment, so no wait. Really impressed and happy with the service. If I need a Novi area haircut I'll certainly use JJ's again!
I’ve been going to JJs for the last ~5 years, and it is one of the establishments that makes Novi feel like home. As I’ve grown out my hair, tried different styles, and worked to take care of curly, 3b hair with different products, the barbers at JJs have adjusted. They’ve had to update their notes dozens of times.
Would it be accurate to say every one of the 30+ haircuts I’ve gotten was perfect? No. But especially as of recent, when I’m clear about what I’m looking for, I end up with a pretty good haircut.
I went her for the 1st and was very happy with the quality of the hair cut. I usually go to Great, Sports or Janes. At place I those places I sometimes felt like I was at a hair cut equivalent of a Jiffy Lube. Here I did not feel like they were rushing through and my hair cut was much better. I will be going back.
Jordan was my guy.
