2 months ago I limped into Dr Stopa’s office.
I had been in PT and had an MRI but was told everything was normal. Dr Stopa went above and beyond to help me by giving me an exercise program that was better than PT and specific chiropractic treatments.
I knew he was concerned about my MRI results, something just did not support a normal MRI based on his assessments.
Dr Stopa went over anatomy and physiology of my pain, flexibility and limitations.
His concern made me reevaluate my orthopedic doctor.
I changed my orthopedic doctor/surgeon and after the new surgeon read my MRI he immediately saw a hip labral tear and 2 bone spurs.
A few days later I went to see Dr Stopa to share the news and my surgical date. Dr Stopa never once said anything about bad doctors and incompetent radiologists . He just said that he was glad that the diagnosis was confirmed, glad that I was getting repaired, and that he looks forward to being part of my post op team.
Honestly, Dr Stopa really led me on the right path, listened and went above and beyond!
