Simply put, I can’t imagine a better organization to have helped my father in his final months. Their compassion, care, and hands-on involvement, including from the owner, are not something you find at the big companies. The caregivers made sure my dad spent time with others, participated in community activities, and stayed engaged every day, which gave our family real peace of mind. We were very lucky to find LoveWell, and I highly recommend them.
Lovewell has provided services for my 84 year old sister, who is experiencing memory loss, that have made it possible for her to continue to live independently in her home. They assigned a helper/companion to her when we first enrolled in their services 6 months ago, who has continued to work with her. My sister was resistant but she has formed a real bond with this person who helps her manage medical appointments, errands, shopping, incoming mail, etc. The managers of Lovewell, a small, local, woman owned business, are easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. They are seldom more than a phone call away. I highly recommend this service.
When my father was in his final days battling prostate cancer, our family was blessed to have the support of Lovewell. Though he was under hospice care, the caregivers from Lovewell provided the kind of daily comfort, dignity, and support that made an incredible difference for both him and our family.
