“My husband and I see Melissa for our regular haircuts and she also just recently provided hair services for our wedding as well! Melissa is very friendly and easy to talk to, which was important for us as we were choosing who to work with for our big day. She did hair for me, 5 bridesmaids including one with a wig, both moms, and for my husband who needed a beard trim and his long hair styled, and everybody was thrilled with their looks! I wasn't really sure what I wanted or how to ask for it, and she did a great job of looking at some examples with me to find out what I liked and didn't like, and was more than willing to adjust as we went at the trial and the day of to make sure I was happy with the end result. Also, my husband is very picky about his beard and she is the only hairstylist that he hasn't come home from and immediately re-trimmed his beard! Would highly recommend Melissa for either salon services or bridal!”
“Ive been here 3 times which i know isnt alot but for someone who doesnt get there nails done often its alot lol. But anyways i have my preferences on who i let do my nails. Today i took my daughter and my bestfriend and myself to get pedis and full sets. Well theres one specific lady there that id suggest not allowing to do your nails as when u try and point out things that arent very well she kinda looks to blame it on other things like do to filing. Well i brought this up to another nail tech as i was unhappy at first and she said no girl i got u and that she did. She fixed this other ladys mistake who you can tell doesnt even care to learn properly. But anyways she fixed my nails and let me tell you they look so much better so thank you so much for taking the time out of ur very busy schedule to fix what wasnt or shouldnt have been your responsibility to fix in the first place, i am forever greatful! I would highly reccomend if you attend sky salon ask for anyone in the family to do your nails they do some amazing work. Theres 2 blood sisters and 2 blood brothers they do amazing work! For the other worker who didnt do so well please take the time to work on your nail profession so there not turning out so badly you have some amazing owners and teachers there that can help you, please stop looking for excuses to ur mistakes and own up to them. If it wasnt for trina fixing my nails i probably wouldnt give a 5 star review but because she did so amazing and fit me in to fix the other ladys mistake which was really bad, i so appreciate that! “My absolute favorite nail studio! They do such great work. I've never been disappointed after getting my nails done here. They all do a great job. They take their time and make sure you're satisfied. They are decently priced. I work a labor intense construction job outside daily. I have yet to break a nail that was done at modern nail studio. They don't hurt and they last. On top of friendly service and the inviting atmosphere modern is clearly the place to get your nails done. I drive 50 minutes one way to get to get there 🙂<br>oh and<br>#screwgigis”
