Posting for one of Gary's clients: I recently did a shut down & update procedure on my laptop. The next time I went to open it, I had an error message that wouldn't allow me to open it. It gave me several options, none of which worked. My daughter in law helped me troubleshoot and also ran into all the same deadends. So I asked her who she recommended for repair service. She gave me the number for Mt Pleasant Computer Repair. I called the number and left a message for Gary Lane. Right outside of campus, I can walk to the location. He was very personable and helpful, He offers a loner laptop to any CMU students who are in need of one while yours is getting fixed.
