For my birthday this year, I got a mental health massage with Sarah Avery, LMT. I've recommended her to many friends for good-ol'-fashioned "regular" massage but let me say: mental health massage was fantastic.This combines energy work with Swedish massage and it was an excellent experience. As a mom and educator, I'm often left with very little emotional energy to care for myself. This leaves me depleted, anxious, and depressed. As a person with ADHD and cPTSD, I often don't think I can still my body or mind enough to relax and reconnect with myself. I left my 90 minute session feeling rejuvenated and as I told Sarah, I left feeling cared for. That's a really big thing for someone like me.If you're looking for this type of experience, or just a good-ol'-fashioned "regular" massage, I cannot recommend Sarah enough. She is excellent at what she does.
Sarah has a gift! She is able to address each and every complaint. She's intuitive and has the ability to even find the spots you forgot to mention! Ask her about her energy work too! Can't say enough.
