I’m about to take you on a journey of this experience, so buckle up. This is my first time here, because I moved and needed a closer location. As a new patient, I was greeted with friendly smiles and everything was running smoothly. All of the equipment seemed like the latest technology, the only name I happened to get was Zoie, which she was so nice and friendly. I wish I would have gotten everyone’s name to give credit to where it is due. The one employee who assisted me through the process was patient with me, helpful, honest, and made the experience very easy. The doctor was extremely thorough and super friendly. Now here is where the story takes a turn….my appointment was at 4pm. After looking through glasses, getting fitted, choosing glasses, the eye exam, and taking my payment I briefly (for less than 2 minutes) looked at sunglasses, and saw an employee (who was standing staring at me, she wasn’t behind the reception desk) and asked her a question, she responded with the rudest comment that was so snarky, that I almost cancelled the whole order and said forget about it. I am going to paraphrase the best I can but it was something along the lines of “that’s not the receptionists job to do that, that would be the optometrist, and we can’t do anything about it because we thought you were done and we’re leaving.” Then the one employee that was preciously helping me stepped in and responded with a much nicer response about when I come in tomorrow she will help me with it and go over everything then. So I rephrased my question, she answered, which only took about 15 seconds all together, and then I walked out. I get that they were closed but they are the ones who scheduled my appointment, and I’m paying a whole lot of money there and so is my insurance so why would this one individual want to steer me away? You can only make one first impression…which was going so well and the one person almost tainted their entire image to make me go somewhere else. I will sleep on this and try to make a rash undramatic decision if I want to stay there or not when they call me tomorrow. Who knows, maybe they will see this review and maybe talk about it.
The only other complaint were all of the glasses I tried on had smudges on them and weren’t clean, along with the eye machine during my exam. The eye Dr did clean it off for me though when I mentioned it, with no issue. Like I stated before, she was great!
Besides the one negative employee and the dirty apparel, everyone and everything else gets a 10. It was a great and crappy experience all at the same time. What a rollercoaster ride 🤣
