Dr. Kathy is one of the most amazing humans I have ever met! She started seeing my anxious rescue dog through the pandemic when our previous vet refused to help her any further. She was amazing with her and I saw tears from her when she had to help us let her go. She has been amazing with my old man Labrador, he had a seizure in their waiting room and she worked him in to make sure he was ok. When I brought my new puppy in for his first visit, the staff was amazing. He is a little guy so they spaced his vaccines out to be sure he was safe. Change my veterinarian from Oakwood to Family Pet as Oakwood did not carry or use Zoetis products ( I am a Zoetis employee and want to use our products). When I took our new beagle puppy in, Dr. Applegate spent a good bit of time talking to me. Glad I changed as Our dogs have become family members and deserve the best care. Oakwood is good but a more traditional clinic.
I have searched for a personal, nurturing, and loving Vet and am so happy I found it! Dr. Kathy and her staff were incredible. They showed my dog Charlie patience, thoroughness and never rushed. I finally feel like we have a wonderful Vet!
