I must express that Dr. Scarborough is exceptional, and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care. The entire team at the Oaklawn office makes you feel like part of their family. Previously, I underwent a partial knee replacement at another facility, but I sought a second opinion at Oaklawn due to new issues I was experiencing. It turns out I now require a full knee replacement. I am grateful to have found a doctor who not only listens to my concerns but also takes the time to explain everything thoroughly.
Kari was very helpful. Discussed how I want to be more watchful of how knees feel & when.
She was also very professional throughout the appointment; discussing how to know when it may be time for an actual replacement, how to be more watchful re: evaluating what I feel & when, etc.
Went in today 8-21-24 to have stitches removed. What a relief. The young lady who removed them was oh so sweet and so gentle. Shortly after Kari game in all smiles. We bragged about how wonderful Dr Comai is. He fixed what the other Dr in Kalamazoo didn’t do. I had had Carpal Tunnel surgery in Jan of 2023. I suffered the pain for a year then I asked for help and to (because of insurance)you jump through numerous hoops to finally have Dr Comai eligible to preform the surgery correctly.
