About Animal Medical Center of Marquette
The Animal Medical Center of Marquette is known for its dedication to animals and providing exceptional care. The team has shown their commitment by staying late to treat a dog with a chest injury. Clients appreciate the staff’s kindness, patience, and understanding during difficult times, such as when putting down cats. Recently, the center received praise for giving a thorough check-up to a 12-year-old Lab, helping ensure his health certificate before travel. Visitors also note that Dr. Emily, Dr. Jen, and Ms. Annie are very kind, knowledgeable, and take the time to answer questions, making pets feel comfortable and owners feel supported. Many clients feel confident knowing the clinic truly cares and is there for their pets whenever needed, making it a top choice for pet care in Marquette County and the Upper Peninsula area.
Dr. Emily is the most compassionate and attentive veterinarian I’ve had in my 15 years as a pet owner. She provided thoughtful, long-term care for my dog Landon and showed genuine empathy when we ultimately had to say goodbye.
With my two senior dogs, she continues to be supportive, respectful, and honest—never judgmental, never profit-driven. She listens, takes concerns seriously, and focuses on comfort and quality of life.
Transitioning from three dogs to two aging ones has been emotionally difficult, and her care has made it so much easier. I trust her completely and cannot recommend her highly enough.
My car seemed more comfortable at this clinic than others. He even got out of his bag and sat in the window which was highly unexpected as he is terrified of being at the vet usually. They addressed all of my questions and concerns and moonie is all set with his shots and feeling better.
I was a new client and was impressed with office, arrived slightly early however and reception was rude to me and short, I waited patiently for them to come back from lunch and expected her to tell me she was ready however she took someone else who just walked in ahead of me, then she had some papers for me and shoved them at me to fill out. Not ever saying hello , please or thank you for waiting. The technician was nice and so was the Dr so that is essentially what I am going there for. I think the front office needs to check themselves and be more courteous to clients as there are other places to go. I will give it another shot.
