I wanted to speak up about something that really bothered me in the past. The way he treated me felt very disrespectful. He rarely answered my questions, and when he did, it was with attitude or barely any effort to be helpful. Most of the time, it felt like he didn’t want to engage with me at all, and he always seemed to be in a bad mood.

His work wasn’t great either. It felt rushed and careless, like he didn’t really care about the outcome. What was especially upsetting was how I started to notice I was being treated differently than others. I can’t say for sure, but it made me wonder if race might have played a part in it.
