Unprofessional & Suspect Firm is preparing income taxes for a deceased individual and an affiliated Trust. As such, the beneficiaries of the Trust will be issued K-1 schedules for disbursements from the Trust as part of the accountancy process. The affected beneficiaries are unable to prepare their personal taxes until the accountancy for the Trust has been completed and K-1 schedules are provided. Beneficiaries & the Executor of the Trust have tried for weeks to gain a response from the firm in regard to status and a completion date for the process. The firm has been completely unresponsive and has ignored several attempts to gain basic information. We are currently 10 days from April 15th with no response or update from the firm with the Beneficiaries at risk of significant logistical issues and potential penalties from the IRS.
