I went in for a wash/blowout for an event. The place is super nice on the inside. I was seen on time, and the stylist, Brooke, was very friendly and got to work quickly. I wasn't there for very long, and my hair looked exactly like I was hoping it would look. The blowout lasted all evening!
I got balayage done here. The stylist that did my hair was Ashley. I didn’t quite like the color after I reached home and checked. So the next day, I called Ashley about the same, and she told me to drop by and changed the color to my liking and it was perfect. She is one of the sweetest persons I’ve met so far in salons. Her and the receptionist took time to explain about the hair products that we asked for and we ended up buying a bunch of those products (Totally worth it). My good fortune to call on a day when Brooke had an opening. Never been here and "always" will be going back after my first best experience at the Door. Professional, personable and welcoming. I'm not someone who loves salon sitting or sitting at all. I was so comfortable and welcomed with Brooke's personality and she asked good questions and gave me exactly what I wanted and needed. Color highlights, root coloring, a cut -a hair nutrition treatment for my curls and dryness. It's still so fresh 4 days later. Cindy the owner, is also a precious professional business owner. She has such a lovely and fun personality. The salon is very clean and spacious which I loved. ... and they are moving across the street to a newly designed building and I got a sneak preview from Cindy and the decor looks terrific. Finding a special salon where you get what you want on your first visit and are confident that going each time will be even better makes me happy. If you're looking at a new hair style or just refresh your present look you should consider a visit - the Door may be perfect for you - Just Open It like I did.
