We have taken our dog Mack in twice for unexpected illness this summer, once for a tick and Lyme exposure and once for over sensitive skin after a haircut that was very short / shaved. The staff and doctors are all amazing and truly care about our dog. There are no surprises, cost is discussed upfront and the plan of care is developed with our input. We give IAH our highest recommendation and are very grateful to them.
I had a really good experience with Ithaca Animal Hospital! Everyone there was so sweet to my Corgi Bandit and treated him really well. They took the time to explain what they were going to do for his treatment and made sure I understood everything. They also gave me some really helpful information about flea and tick medicine and why they recommend prescribed medication over the over-the-counter stuff, which I really appreciated because I honestly didn’t know there was that much of a difference. Ithaca Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing, and Dr. Wildrose deserves special recognition. She is incredibly compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable, and she truly goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure all of my questions were answered, which really put me at ease. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the animals she treats.
