She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure all of my questions were answered, which really put me at ease. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the animals she treats. Brought my grandpa’s cat in with a paw injury that had him limping around the house like he was auditioning for a tragic movie role. The team at Ithaca animal hospital took one look, gave him the VIP treatment, and had him fixed up so fast he forgot which paw was supposed to be ‘hurt.’ Staff were kind, patient, and somehow managed to keep a straight face while dealing with our very opinionated feline. The paw is healing, his attitude is not, and we couldn’t be happier. Five stars and two fully functioning back feet.
From receptionist to vet tech to veterinarian you can feel the concern and caring. We are taking care of our son's dog and noticed changes in his drinking and urination. I called to get him seen as a new patient and the receptionist (Izzy) was so helpful and supportive. We were able to get him seen within 2 days. Dr Wenzel is fantastic. She explained his condition well and discussed our options. She listens attentively and remained very patient even with multiple questions. She even went out of her way to take the time to meet with our son after he flew home. To say I am pleased with Ithaca Animal Hospital is an understatement! Thank you All so much.
