The salon itself makes me feel at home it's a very comfortable setting in my opinion. Wonderful prices atleast for a haircut I don't ever do more than that with my hair. The nail prices are very good too, I have had my nails done here too and they were wonderful! Everyone who works there is very friendly!! I have only had Mareia cut my hair for the past 14yrs. She is also the only one I bring my girls to for their hair too! My 4yr old just gave herself a mullet and looked like Billy Ray Cyrus back, she fixed her hair at first we tried to keep it long because I love long hair but neither of us cared for it too much even though it did look better...by that night Mareia messaged me and asked about a pixie cut on her instead cause she thought it would look better...I completely agreed (I am not a fan of the mullet on anyone honestly). So today (the very next day) she had me bring my daughter in at 9 and she fixed it free of charge. This is honestly the only Salon I have been to where I have felt they actually care about what I want and don't just do what they think will look better, they listen to their clients and make sure they are happy!! By far my favorite salon in Iron River to go to!!!

Heat went out due to pipes on the roof freezing. Was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get someone out because it was Friday afternoon. Smed’s came out right away and fixed everything for a very fair price. Also, provided a solution to keep this from reoccurring in the future by rerouting the roof pipes to a better location. Will be doing that project in the spring.Will highly recommend Smed’s to anyone looking to have their HVAC work done right.Service: Heating system maintenance

We had a great experience with John and Shannon. It was a 2 year remodel of our 100 year old hunting camp. A big project with lots of challenges but we worked well together and make it happen. Cost came in as planned and finished product is great it will be around for another 100 years.
Ryan and his team were awesome. Best experience with a contractor I’ve had. Not a single issue. New to the area and needed something major done in a pinch and they were very accommodating and squeezed us in pretty quick. Had a few local contractors come out and Ryan was confident and made me feel the best and also gave the best quote. It was a no brainer and they did an excellent job. Quick and efficient. I see people complaining about communication delays but these guys are busy, worked nonstop all day. If you can be a little patient it’ll be worth it!
