About Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson
Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson is a highly rated hospital with a great staff, including highly trained and professional physicians. The campus is nice, easy to navigate, and undergoing renovations to add a cancer treatment center, benefiting the local community. The hospital provides a variety of treatment options and is associated with a larger group of clinics and hospitals, offering a stable base of employment. Patients praise the excellent care received, particularly in the sleep clinic and emergency room, where staff are described as caring and attentive.
In and out of consciousness in ER, pretty soon the RN yanks my arm and me up, says You Gotta Go, sticks me in the wheelchair, and takes me outside to wait for the car. This person calls herself an RN. Btw, her initials are JR if you even care to know. I am not a young person, am immune compromised and should have had her arrested for physical abuse! Apparently our hospital is NOT where you go when you are sick! Worst experience ever!
The fact that they haven't asked to speak to any of us should tell you everything you need to know about them!
This hospital is a joke, I came on time for a CT and no one was in the radiology reception area because it was late afternoon, ok fine, after sitting for over 10 minutes I went to the switchboard and Amy was so kind to call back to radiology, they told her they forgot..( as a side note I wasn't the only person waiting). This hospital needs new and better management, no wonder people will drive out of their way and go to Green Bay or Marquette for even basic care. People complained when it was DCH (Don't Come Here), Marshfield is worse.
This emergency room is insanely slow. Not the first time either. Been here for over 3 hours already in the waiting area. We come here because it’s an emergency. How can you make people wait so long.
