I've been a patient of Dr. Patera for literally 30 years. He's caring and takes his time with you to figure out your problems. I recommend him and this practice highly. He's retiring in August, I will miss him but I'm sure there are other great doctors there.

Dr. Patera through Grand Rapids Optholomolgy in Ionia, MI is a very compassionate, smart and caring eye Dr. I've been with him for 20 plus years and he is my favorite eye Dr ever! I had a chemical burn in my eye with my contacts in and immediately Dr. Patera staff got me in asap and the care I received from him weekly and his staff was pnemonial. The extra mile to care for my eyes so I would not have permanent damage., you cannot ask for a better eye Dr then him. Dr. Patera rocks all 10 + stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
