They are a very active post with events & functions going on all the time. The auxiliary is almost always planning something. The riders group has around 70 members & we are always out on the roads somewhere! The sons are very active here as well The staff & all the members are simply fantastic here, so glad we joined. My wife and I were riding by the Howell Post and decided to stop in. As soon as we got inside we were greeted and welcomed by several members, (this never happened at the post I’m a member of)? I asked about the Legion Riders and a member greeted us and explained how to join them and invited us to go on a ride they were leaving for in a few minutes. We joined them and had an awesome time!! Right then we decided to join the ALR and transfer my membership asap!! These are the best group I’ve had the privilege of calling my Brothers and Sisters! The Howell American Legion is one big FAMILY!! Thank you for having us!!!
