Great hidden gem. The shop has been around for years, and I'm glad Google maps posted it. Terry the barber who cut my hair was efficient, and had a nice banter. The interior of the shop is a bit dated, but the place was clean and fresh smelling. I'm going back there for all my haircuts.

Shep's is a gem in Highland Park! I stumbled upon them driving down Hamilton and decided to stop because of the mural on the side of the wall of Trayvon Martin. The 14 year old boy that was wrongfully murdered some years ago. Come to find out this gem has been in Highland Park since 1944!!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. 1944! That's a long time. While there, I spoke with Ms Dottie who is now the current owner and I can say she is one of the sweetest women I've met. She took the time to go over the history of Shep's with me.
