Calderone Golf Club

Calderone is a great public golf course located right of I-94 in Jackson County. Although the course is visible from the expressway, you only hear the noise of traffic and see the cars on the 2nd hole.The course conditions are always good. I played three times this year and didn’t have a bad experience with conditions or anything regarding my round. They run outings well and the annual Gobbler gets some of the best golfers in the area to compete for a pretty good prize pool. We have never played here before. The starter came out and welcomed us and told us all about the course before we teed off. The fairways were the plushest we’ve seen all year, the greens were amongst the fastest we’ve seen all year, beautiful, challenging layout. And for $30 with cart we felt we were stealing.

What an amazing golf course. Beautiful views, challenging holes, interesting green complexes. If you are a golf lover, this must be the best value for your money in the area.Such a lovely variety in the types of holes.
