“I was extremely nervous when I learned that my son needed his first cavity filled. My son is Autistic, and I worried about how he would tolerate the procedure given his sensory sensitivities. From the moment we arrived, the dental hygienist and dentist were absolutely phenomenal. They took the time to show him each tool they would be using and gently allowed him to explore them beforehand, which made a huge difference. Everyone we interacted with was kind, patient, and highly professional. What stood out most to me was how well they prepared for his visit. The seating was thoughtfully arranged in front of a large window with a beautiful view, creating a calm and welcoming environment. But more than anything, what truly meant the most was that the dentist saw my son and not just his Autism.
