My wife and I have been coming up to Gladwin and staying here for several years now and this place has always been great to us. Great rooms, great food, and wonderful people running the place. A 5 star rating is well deserved. You will not find a value like this anywhere at such a great price. We love the area so much my wife and I decided to build our retirement home in Gladwin's Sugar Springs community. We'll miss our annual visits to Riverwalk but look forward to becoming neighbors. Thanks for all of those great years.
We stayed here to visit a dying relative in the area.
When we arrived there were dirty tissues in the chair cup holder, a broken light switch and some cracks in the wall plaster.
It was a nice quiet stay and worked well. It was either get 2 bedrooms at a hotel for $80 each or get a place that had 2 rooms and living area for just a little more.
Things are a bit pricey since it’s a Resort. We did not use any of the resort amenities other than going to the Rivertown inn to swim.
Everyone was pretty nice.
