About Treetops Resort
Treetops Resort is a popular place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms. The resort features several top-notch golf courses that provide a good challenge with many fun, elevated holes. The greens are in great condition, and the courses, especially RTJ Masterpiece and Fazio, are highly praised. The resort offers a variety of activities, including dining options from the restaurant to the sports bar, where service is friendly and the food is really good. The resort also has indoor and outdoor pools that are clean and well-maintained. The chalets are perfect for groups, and the staff provides friendly hospitality. While some rooms in the hotel may need a facelift, they are priced appropriately, and there are indications of ongoing updates. The service at the refreshment stations is generally good, though some stations are not open early in the morning. The sand traps could use some improvement, as rocks are sometimes found in the bunkers, which can damage clubs. Overall, the grounds and views are beautiful, and the resort has great potential to be a premier golf destination with some investment and attention to detail.
Nothing to write home about for the resort itself. However, we were there to purely play golf all weekend. Rooms at the inn and lodge are fine for what you need. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice and clean. Beds comfy.
In terms of golf, all 5 courses we played were awesome. Great test of skill with many fun, elevated holes. Greens were in great condition! As many have noted, the ice storm tore apart a lot of the area, but my buddy and I agreed it didn’t take away from the experience for us. RTJ Masterpiece and Fazio were the highlights. Service at the courses was solid, although many on course refreshment stations aren’t open early in the morning. Only complaint...read full review
20 of us came up for Texas on a guys getaway. Stayed 5 days, Played all four courses and the par 3. The courses were exceptional. Well worth the trip. The rooms were a little dated but the golf defiantly made up for it. The food was really good from the restaurant to the sports bar. Rebecca the bar tender was great, probably the best I've ever had and Krysten our server was beyond friendly. Two girls I'd try to keep around. Definitely will be returning next year.
Rooms in the hotel where we started are a pretty dated and need a face lift, but they are fine and priced appropriately. One guy in our group had an updated room (I didn't see it tho) so maybe they are working on updates which is good to hear.
Great sandwiches made to order and pretty quick. All the service people were extremely friendly.
Beautiful courses and nice greens. Only complaint would be the sand traps (especially tradition) A lot of the traps have golf ball size rocks in there, I found one buried in the sand that put a large dent in my brand new wedge which was a bummer, but it is what it is, it still works. But they should really have someone...read full review
