I was given lawn care service from Wilcox as a Father's Day gift. Maybe my expectations of what lawn care should be are too high, but it was a big disappointment. Wilcox twice waited more than 4 weeks between mowing, when we'd call about it they'd tell us "It's hot so the grass isn't growing" - that may be true but unfortunately the heat doesn't stop the weeds from growing. Our lawn became a huge eyesore and my wife and I would have to mow it ourselves out of embarrassment.One time my wife called and said that it was so bad out there that if they couldn't make it today to mow that she was going to mow it herself.
