My lumbar fusion went great. But we had issues from an infection, I believe, from rehab as they never changed or cleaned my wounds correctly. On my way today for an injection to see if he can help relieve that nagging hip pain. I don't trust Drs, but Dr Schell is not only knowledgeable and friendly, he is a straight shooter, and his bedside manner is wonderful.

Dr. Schell is a very smart doctor who has an excellent demeanor. I’ve been seeing him for just over two years and both my SI fusions went great. I got great pain relief from each surgery on the right and left side. I still have a disk problem and I am going in on 5/16/24 to get a spinal cord stimulator. I have great hope for good results but you never know as with any surgery. If it doesn’t work for me then I’ll just have to find something else.
