“I was never a big believer in Chiropractic procedures. Everything looked good on paper but the thought of jerking my body one way or another was less than appealing to me.
So here I am 58 years blessed and the New Life team visits my Sunday School class.
Dr Clift and Dr Abigail were very impressive and more than willing to talk with all of us, even after the presentation. They also threw the “free” word in there for the initial X-ray and diagnosis visit. With the encouragement of my husband , I gave it a try.
I have lived a long time with a diagnosis of degenerative discs and severe arthritis in my back. My job choices past and present do not help with this. Needless to say, I am in pain most of the time. And it was getting worse with each day. I was that person who could not sit for more than one round of cards without stretching. Getting my feet into my pant-legs was challenging because of the pain. Getting out of bed was a calculated plan each morning.
So we did the free exam and X-ray and decided to give it a try.
My first adjustment ( no body jerking, by the way ) was on a Monday. Somewhere in the time between the night and Tuesday morning I jumped out of bed to answer the call of nature. Somewhere between my bed and the bathroom I stopped dead in my tracks and realized, I just jumped out of bed. No calculated plan, no pain. I nearly cried. I have been without that pain ever since. Praise the Lord! And this is the biggest part of the New Life Center. Jesus. He is everywhere in their facility. On the walls, on the screens, in the corners with praying people, and in the staff. They are all representing Jesus in their ministry of health and wellness.
I am very thankful that they came to our Sunday School class, not only for my own health but also for growing my family of God.“
