You can get a straight raiser shave... I did! You can get the hot towel treatment, I did! Maryo also hooked up a nice fade just like a get back home in Cali. Nothing slick, just that old school clippers, shears and straight razor treatment. I'm glad I took the risk. Next time I'm back in town I hope to see Maryo again. I recommend making an appointment. “Just left the shop with an excellent cut from LaVale, although the other folks who were in the shop also indicated that they liked the cut they were getting.
The vibe was excellent. Good conversation, attention to detail. LaVale understood the assignment (I'm a relatively easy cut, admittedly). He took the time to get to understand what I wanted (I am not the clearest with instructions sometimes) and did what needed to be done, and then some.
I will certainly be going back to get my next cut there too.“
