I had used Sol Con (Dave) for an insulation job in my previous home about 20 years ago. He did a great job then and did a great job now on my current home. I had kept his receipt because he really was exceptional; he responded promptly for an estimate, prices were fair and reasonable and he showed up when he said he would. I haven't had a more reliable contractor than Dave. We noticed a difference in the temperature in our home the same day. Dave's grandson helps him on some of the jobs. Had Dave come and give me a quote after seeing three people before him. Dave was clearly the most knowledgeable of anybody in the area regarding my attic. Not only did we need insulation, but we needed more airflow, fixed venting, and more. Price was great as well. He knew exactly what needed to get done, came in the very next week, and completed a full project in two days. Great professional to work with - and if you stick around to watch him work - he and his partner have hilarious banter. It's clear they care about what they do, and I'd highly recommend Dave to come take a look at your attic before somebody else tells you "all you need is some insulation up here!"

Dave was incredible. After toying back and forth about blowing in insulation myself, I am very happy turned to Sol-Con. There are so may little details I would have missed. He really know what he is doing.I went into the job only wanting insulation blown in. but Dave showed me the importance of adding additional ventilation, properly venting the bath fan, and weather stripping the access panel. The house is now so much quieter, and the A/C hardly ever kicks on!As for timing, Dave came back the next day after quoting and cut/installed all the vents while I was at work.
