The woman who runs the salon is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and easy to talk to. She gets the haircut right every time, cuts hair really good and fast, and really knows what she’s doing. Customers leave happy with the result, getting lots of compliments. She is the go-to place for Asian hair, as nobody else can cut it like she can. She also provides great service, including a lesson in how to style your own hair, and sells good hair products there. The salon is always clean and comfortable, takes walk-ins, and is convenient. Please note that it is cash only. It is advised to call to schedule an appointment.
I've been here a few times for haircuts and a perm, and the woman who runs the salon (I believe her name is Maria) is incredibly sweet and welcoming. The first time I came in was for a perm—my first ever—and she did a great job. It lasted about five months and looked great the whole time.
Since then, I’ve been coming back for regular haircuts. I usually show her a picture because I’m not great at explaining what I want, but she gets it right every time. Maria cuts hair really good and fast too, I get lots of compliments whenever she cuts my hair, It’s $25 for boys, including washing with shampoo, conditioner, and styling. She also sells good hair products there.
Wonderful haircut but after service I was told cash only and was prompted to walk to flagstar bank 700 feet away up a dirty hill. What the actual flip?! I was turned off by the last moment for no reason. Please advise customers if you decide to be a business owner that is unwarrantably denying 'PLASTIC' I could not justify a tip after paying a $4 ATM fee.. sorry not sorry!
