I’ve been coming to East River for many years, and I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to write a review. East River has always taken amazing care of my two dogs. Both have faced various health issues over the years, and the team is always there whenever we need them. In the past eight years, I’ve visited several veterinary clinics, but none have earned my trust like Dr. Dubs and the staff at East River. They are truly kind, caring, and compassionate professionals who go above and beyond for their patients.
I want to thank everyone at East River for their kindness, patience, and compassion when we had to make the hard decision to put our sweet kitty down after suffering sudden and unexpected heart failure. We are brand new to the area and we were in the middle of moving. We called several other places nearby and were denied. East River didn't have any openings that day either, and we told them we were in a very bad spot financially, but they told us to come in anyway and they went above and beyond to take care of our us and our boy when we needed it the most. Our sweet boy was handled with care and passed peacefully. We can not thank you enough.
I had to put my best pal for the last 12 years down today. These folks made it painless for him. He went with one last little wag of his tail to let me know he was okay. I’m very grateful.
