My mother was going in to do paperwork and got picked up at 9am and left pace by ambulance and was brought to Henry Ford Macomb and they didn't tell me anything. As my wife and I being her caretaker I feel like it'd be a priority to let their caretaker know that they aren't going to be dropped off by the pace bus and has been rushed to the hospital by ems. Not sure if I'm over thinking this or not? But I think it's pretty messed up considering they picked her up from here and never returned her or let me know anything. What's the point of having an emergency contact if you don't contact the person they have listed during an emergency. That's not ok.
I am very disappointed with this business. It is more of a culture club to me a social club likely babysitting adult babysitting type of organization focused on a position or title more so than the care they claim they're giving. I definitely would not recommend this place to anybody with loved ones with chronic illnesses ; too many games are being played with this and it's not funny it's very serious because it's not any of their loved ones it's more like a light likely swept over so-called caregiving place.
Center , food, activities, aides in and out of house, social workers, receptionist wonderful. Medical team ๐. Yesterday day I spent the morning/ afternoon texting my mothers care. Thursday I will send a note with her care concerns. One of the selling features was they provide all medical needs. 85% of outside doctor visits I have driven her. When needing specific care near impossible to be seen in a timely manner. ( urine test/ toe nails). On the other hand dental( dentures((but canโt get new ones)) and audiologist appointments every couple months. My mother has seen an audiologist ( no hearing issues) 4x in 87 years of life. Last year with Pace.
