Charles Shaver did our home inspection, and while I was impressed with how thorough he was and the quick turnaround time writing up the report, I'd say I was most impressed by the knowledge he shared with me regarding what the things he wrote in his report actually meant. As a first time home buyer, buying from out of town, with limited knowledge about the various things he found, I really needed someone to hold my hand a bit. Mr. Shavers was a very thorough and down to earth inspector. Booking with him online was very easy and his prices were reasonable with add-ons being available.For a new home buyer, he was very patient with me and clear when explaining everything that I had a question about. Moreover, at no point did I feel like he was irritated with the numerous amount of questions that I had.His report at the end was as thorough as his inspection. It was very easy to understand and share with my realtor via pdf. I definitely recommend choosing him as your inspector.

**Writing a review after 2.5 years of owning the house.**** I would have given 3.5 stars if possible. ** Charles Shaver was our inspector.Inspector was nice and seemed knowledgeable. He did a decent job with pointing out things that were not working or broken and needed to be fixed. That information helped us negotiate back to the sellers. He missed some key things that, IMO, fall under an inspectors job. For examples, we were not getting washer dryer with the house, so he completely skipped the gas line, but the gas line was kinked, not as per code and dangerous.
