Zoom Express Laundry is an exceptionally clean laundromat and laundry service located in East Lansing. The facility is a clean, safe, and comfortable place to do laundry, situated near the intersection of Lake Lansing and Hagadorn Roads. The laundromat features 34 new washers that are also extractors, along with 35 dryers, allowing customers to save time and money. Customers can operate the machines using quarters, the Huebsch app, credit cards, or cash. The laundromat offers fast, free Wi-Fi that works both inside and outside, as well as large HD TVs for entertainment and device charging stations. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist customers. Recently, reviews highlight that the place is very clean, and the environment is pleasant to hang out in while doing laundry. Some customers mention that the dryers can eat quarters and not add time, so using a credit card is recommended. The staff goes above and beyond, sometimes paying for a load if card readers are down, which keeps customers coming back. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art video surveillance for safety. Zoom Express Laundry is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm, with the last load accepted by 9 pm.
Very clean, great machines of all sizes and dryers that work well. They offer WiFi, they have laundry supplies for purchase if you forget yours at home, TV’s to watch, lots of tables to fold your clothes at, an area to sit and study if you like to do that while waiting for laundry. You can pay in cash for the machines or you can use the app to see what washing machines and dryers are available, you can get a text or an email when cycles are almost finished, you can also add time to a dryer while it’s running right from the app, which I love. They have machines that they reserve for laundry that your four legged friends use, which I think is very cool and considerate. They are sanitized often. They also offer laundry drop off service that charges by weight, so if you’re short on time and still want clean clothes, they will help you get your laundry done! Additionally, management works very hard to make sure that any and all needs are addressed, which is much appreciated. 10/10 stars, I love this place.
So, recently, I had a pretty bad experience at Zoom. And I wrote an awful review. I was pretty convinced that they ruined all of my clothes and bedding. So, I was really upset. They smelled horrendous. I had tried to get the smell out, and it didn’t work… Then, this all occurred on a day when a lot of other things were going on. I didn’t feel well…. A lot of excuses…. Anyhow, some more miscommunications. Took a few days before I heard from anyone…lots of frustration; probably on both sides. And I had some choice words for several zoom employees, which clearly was not my finest moment. So here’s what matters. The owner called and listened. And then he drove out to my house and picked up my laundry. And they worked on it for hours, and got all the odors out. And then they delivered it. (That really exceeded my expectations.) Stupidly, I missed changing the review. Even after they had worked to remedy the issue. My mistake. I am sorry. So here’s what you need to know. The owner is a class act. They care about what goes on in their laundromat. And they did the right thing, and saved all my laundry.
