New female doctor very nice, but a little tentative. (already quit)Tentative is better than authoritative......lolShe was very kind and understanding.But seeing my pup in a new distress tonight, maybe we should have been more thorough.I don't know what's wrong with her.New male vet there leaves the room before your finished talking with him.Assistants there have talked with him about it.It's a pity Dr. Butts retired. He was the best.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and veterinarian. They took excellent care of our pets. You can definitely tell they are in it to help the animals and care for them deeply. They call and make sure everything is good afterwards also. I would recommend them over any other vet in our area.

So thankful for this place and the staff. We arrived from out of town for a long weekend and needed to get our dog Penny in. After calling around the St Joseph area, Dowagiac was recommended as they accept walk ins. We arrived and Penny was seen right away. We were in and out pretty quickly. The staff and doctor were all friendly and did a great job. We got medicine for Penny to begin right away for her UTI. I also found their pricing to be very fair and comparable to our local vet in northern Illinois.
