Looking for a vet after moving from out of state, I found Dexter Animal Clinic. I was able to get in the next day for an exam and vaccines for my dog. My dog is highly anxious and stressed at the vet and the vet and vet tech were SO patient and kind. Typically, these visits are high stress for me and my dog due to her anxiety. They were able to handle her with care and do the exam and vaccines. Dr Nowicki also sat with me after the exam to go over any concerns I had and solutions for future vet visits to help her feel less stressed. My dog jumped out the window five minutes away from this clinic and broke his leg. I brought him in without an appointment, crying my eyes out. They dropped what they were doing (eating lunch) and took incredible care of him. They called several surgeons and helped me get booked. They were the best part of one of my worst days. Their kindness, compassion, professionalism and teamwork was exactly what my dog and I needed.

Dexter Animal Clinic has always been great to us. Great care and thorough explanations of any treatment options, as well as good prices. They are always friendly on the phone and good about making appointments or getting in last minute.
