Out in Detroit for work & it’s been a struggle to find a place to get my haircut to say the least. Had a few appointments only to show up & get told they wouldn’t cut my hair. To showing up & doors being locked with people inside & none would answer the phone.Called Heavy Weight Cuts & they were super professional & couldn’t be happier with my cut & the price. This barber shop is open later than most Detroit barber shops. Where most shops close at 5 or 530 pm, Heavyweight Cuts stay open til 6 and later if need be.The prices are listed on the wall for everyone's knowledge.Barbers are down to earth and present a welcoming atmosphere for all.Shop talk and sports are to be expected like most urban barber shops.I recommend.No pictures to offer.
The service was AWESOME. The shop was clean, ample seating, public restroom & friendly service but the BEST part of our visit was the owner Dave. He is warm, welcoming & full of positive energy. I mean, c'mon now, the kids call Dave, Uncle Barber Dave. What better endorsement can you get?
