Detroit Hives removed our large honey bee swarm with great care. Nicole and Tim came out on short notice and expertly and lovingly captured the swarm and we got a full educational experience in the process. They are knowledgeable with warm personalities and I can't wait to visit the bees at their new home in Detroit!

Very educational about these tiny insects that most people, unfortunately don’t understand. If it weren’t for bees ? there most definitely not be trees, which provide oxygen for the earth, plants for our food, and food for our animals which we consume, wax for numerous arts, crafts, industries, honey for food and medical purposes, the use’s and benefits are wide and vast. The guides are knowledgeable and educated on the subject, making everyone feel at home, calm, due to possible fear of the bees, safe, and completely entertained. We visited Detroit Hives during a recent visit to Detroit. Tim and Nicole, the beekeepers have an amazing enthusiasm and expansive knowledge of their newly found passion. We scheduled an hour tour and left after 2 1/2 hours of wonderful conversation and new knowledge of bees and appreciation for this project. DON'T MISS IT.
