About Detroit International Welcome Center
The Detroit International Welcome Center is a helpful and welcoming resource for both citizens and visitors to Detroit, MI. The staff, including the manager Terry and employee Tess Miller, are praised for their friendly and accommodating demeanor. They go above and beyond to assist visitors, providing chairs, water, and even part of their lunch while they wait. The center is thorough in its offerings, providing a wide range of booklets and brochures about local activities and attractions. Visitors appreciate the ability to take as many of these materials as they need.
The welcome center is such a clean and informative place! You can find maps, brochures, and everything in between. Terry is super passionate about the state of Michigan and city of Detroit, and has a ton of great tips!! He’s also the nicest person ever and will absolutely brighten your day. We had a great conversation about bike routes and he even made sure to give us some really cool Detroit stickers. I highly recommend stopping by the welcome center to say hi to Terry and learn more about all the amazing things to do in the area!
I am visiting Detroit and came over to Michigan Welcome Center to get some information. Terry was great and very knowledgeable of the area. He answered all of my questions and made suggestions on where to go and eat. His help was very much appreciated.
My friend and I made an unplanned stop in. Terry H. was a wealth of information and so helpful. He even offered to help plan a June girl trip tailored to our needs. Terry is fantastic! Center was clean and stocked with tons of information. Highly recommend a visit to see Terry to plan a tour through beautiful Michigan.
