I have been looking ALL over MI for a Redken exclusive salon and was happy to find one in the area while I was visiting from DC. When I walked in, Ellen, my stylist, greeted me and we had a chat about my hair and what I wanted. She looked at the texture, condition, and made suggestions based upon what I wanted. The colour turned out great and was exactly what I wanted. As for the cut, I have hair past my waist and only wanted a trim, which for some reason, is something many stylists do not understand. I usually wind up with about 6 inches gone. Ellen listened to exactly what I said, and was actually a bit conservative on how much she took off (a major plus in my book)....read full review
