You can start riding here at the age of 5. Kids ride Haflinger horses, so they are a bit shorter than other horses. It works out nicely with smaller kids. Starting from the first lesson, you learn how to groom horses, feed them, anatomy, and of course riding. Linda, the owner and instructor, works with the children to learn proper dressage.
Great service to help challenged children develop skills and education. This is a working horse farm with talented instructors and volunteers. Carefully selected horses that have to meet set standards of disapline and temperament. Truly a learning environment, even if you do not want to learn to ride.
I attended their “Test Ride a Pony” event. My daughter had a blast. They provide a very inclusive environment and were extremely patient with my very hyper and excited child. I highly recommend them!
