After returning from a vacation, I noticed a large sore above my almost 14-year-old dog’s tooth. I first took him to a veterinarian closer to home, where I expressed my concern about his age and the risks of putting him under anesthesia for dental extractions. I left that visit feeling pressured into extensive testing and costly procedures, with an estimate in the thousands and no availability for over a month.

Staff were amazing! Had to make a difficult decision and the staff gave me plenty of time to think about it and consoled me when I cried. If I ever have another pet, they will be patients here.
My family had to put to rest our 19 year old yorkie Mason this month, and although we saw it coming due to his age and decline, there is never enough time. Clio Animal Hospital did a wonderful job and made sure the experience was comfortable for both our very loved family member and us. Thank you for your compassion during the most painful part of life.
